Medical Assistant
Meet Tasha, our newest medical assistant, who joined us in January of 2024. She is a recent graduate of West Virginia Junior College where she obtained an Associate’s Degree in Clinical Medical Assisting.
Tasha has 12 years of previous work experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant and a Unit Clerk in an inpatient orthopedic/medical surgical unit as well as three years in long-term care and rehabilitation. She also studied Emergency Medicine where she obtained her EMT-B from Pierpont Community and Technical College in 2012.
Tasha is a West Virginia native. She was born and raised in the small historic town of Grafton, WV, which is best known for founding Mother’s Day. She now resides in West Waynesburg, PA with her husband and son.
When Tasha is not at work she likes to travel with her family, go to concerts, attend sporting events, watch movies and documentaries, and read. She loves a good thriller, true crime or romance novel! Tasha also likes to spend her summers in the water. She loves the beach, boating, a Tygart lake, or floating on the Mon River. Tasha eagerly embraces new learning opportunities and has been instrumental in helping us bring our sexual wellness program to fruition.
