Most patients describe the treatment as painless. As the numbing medication wears off, you are likely to experience some soreness and/or swelling in your underarm area. This will improve within 48 hours and resolve within a few weeks. We recommend icing the area for the first 48 hours. You should not need to miss any work after the miraDry procedure.
