Laser Genesis is a gentle laser treatment that can help reverse the aging process, smooth and improve skin tone, and help with acne without any recovery time. This is an incredible option to minimize redness or premature aging on your face, neck, or chest—including facial veins, sun spots, and uneven texture.

Laser Genesis is a non-ablative treatment. This means that the laser heats your skin but does not remove the top layer (like some other laser treatments would). The heat generated promotes collagen contraction and repair. Collagen is extremely important as it keeps the skin looking youthful by giving volume and suppleness. As we age, collagen levels in skin start to deplete naturally which leads to loss of volume, fine lines, and wrinkles. When left alone, these signs of aging progress faster and faster (think of a snowball) resulting in deeper wrinkles, flattened areas and hollows.

Not only does laser genesis help with signs of aging, it also treats acne scars, uneven texture, rosacea spots and sun damage making it a complete rejuvenation system.

Just about everyone! Laser genesis works on all skin types.  Our primary goal is to give you great outcomes. If you are looking to treat very deep wrinkles or heavy scarring we may recommend a different treatment option. If you are looking to have treatment for redness, acne, skin laxity, or mild skin spots laser genesis is a wonderful treatment option.

DOES IT HURT?

No thankfully, it is really very comfortable! You will feel a warming sensation but should feel no pain.

HOW LONG WILL THIS TAKE?

Many people call laser genesis a ‘lunch time laser’ meaning that the treatment is quick (about 30 minutes) and you leave with very little or no redness/ swelling. You could easily come in for treatment in the morning and then go right back to work or your regular commitments.

WHEN WILL I NOTICE RESULTS?

You will start to notice texture and tone improvements within a few days with full results after 6 weeks. For optimal results we encourage you to purchase a package. Packages include 6 sessions that are 2-4 weeks apart. We will give you our guidance regarding  how many sessions you will likely need.

HOW LONG WILL MY RESULTS LAST?

It depends a bit on what we are treating and also on age. If we are treating scars, those scars should soften and not return. If we are working on boosting collagen then over time, your skin’s natural process of collagen breakdown will begin again. After completing a package we typically recommend a regular maintenance treatment every six months to help maintain your results. One treatment every six months will go a long way in keeping collagen production boosted and maintaining results. 

ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?

Laser genesis is a very safe treatment and overall if has very few potential side effects. The most common side effect, while rare, is a rash that goes away itself over a few days.
